I was born in Los Angeles California a loooooooooong time ago.

Right after I was born, my parents decided to leave L.A. We drove out of the city only one hour before the famous Rodney King riots broke out all over the area, making it nearly impossible for anyone to leave their homes in safety.

After driving a full day away from the city, we stopped and slept for the night. When we woke up the next morning there were two bullet holes in our car just inches from where we had been sleeping.

We moved to Clovis, New Mexico, and that that is where we stayed for the next six years of my life. In 1998 however, we decided to pack up everything we had and move to the wilderness of Montana not knowing where we would live or even where my dad would find a job. All we knew is that we were going.
For the first two years in Montana we lived in everything from a log cabin with no electricity two hours from the nearest town, a small little round house, a camper, a bus, a barn, to finally a tent for about four months. The tent was quiet an adventure!

We finally moved to house sitting on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful view. We experienced some pretty extreme adventures during the winter when the road turned into a solid sheet of glassy ice.

It was about this time that I began to get an interest in singing. My mom signed me up for voice lessons, but I said that there was no way I was going to sing in front of anyone, including my voice teacher.

But of course, I did. And after a while it wasn’t so bad. But singing in public was still out of the question. The very thought of it alone could make me turn blue.
Then the time came for my first recital. I thought I would die. I began shaking uncontrollably, which added some extra vibrato to the piece. I sang so quietly that most people in the audience couldn’t hear a word I said. As far as I was concerned, that was my first and last performance. But then came the second recital, which wasn’t so bad.

After a while, as I began to do more singing here and there, it became a little easier. And soon even though I still felt extremely nervous I did it more and more because I really enjoyed it.

Now, singing to me, is one of my favorite things to do.

My favorite part of performing is to see the smiles on people’s faces. Thats when the nervousness fades. My goal is to give people something they can take away with them. Something long lasting.

In 2007 I began attending Fountainview Academy  in British Columbia. The time I have spent there has been some of the best of my life. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Now, I plan continuing to sing while finishing my last two  years of highschool. After that I want to get my pilots license and eventually do mission work in South America.
